IceBand Face
Iceband Face is developed for effective and comfortable cooling treatment in the lower facial region and is suitable for treating postoperative pain and swelling around the jaw. The bandage provides cooling and compression for the whole jaw and can be used to treat one side of the face at the time, or both sides simultaneously.
Just like the other IceBand models, IceBand Face has a documented cooling effect that lasts for up to 1 hour. Each package of IceBand Face includes one brace and two sets of cooling elements. The four cooling elements allows the patient to keep two sets in the freezer while two are being used.
Provides comfortable treatment after facial surgery
IceBand Face is suitable for treating pain and swelling after any kind of surgery in the lower facial region, e.g. dental or cosmetic surgery. The bandage can easily be applied by the patient herself or with assistance. The fitting around the head and the amount of compression is easily adjusted with the elastic Velcro straps.
IceBand Face has a sportier design compared to the other bandages in the IceBand family. The bandage sits comfortably around the face and does not cover the patient’s ears and does not impair the patient’s speech. The placing of the cooling elements can be adjusted to provide optimal cooling for a specific part of the jaw.
